Who are we?
Newquay’s Blue Reef Aquarium provides an amazing undersea adventure through the world’s seas and oceans. Marvel at over 40 naturally-themed displays and be transported from the rocky Cornish shores to the exotic coral reefs!
At the aquarium’s heart is a giant ocean tank with an underwater walkthrough tunnel, home to hundreds of colourful fish, tropical sharks and Omiros, the rescued loggerhead turtle.
Head along to interactive talks and feeding demonstrations with the keepers and understand more about the importance of our world’s waters. Can you help to protect them?
PLUS enjoy a host of activities and events for all the family on selected weekends and school holidays throughout the year.

Get ready for a fin-tastic day out! Blue Planet Aquarium is open daily from 10am (closed only on Christmas Day), with the last entry one hour before closing.

Getting Here is Easy! Whether you’re driving (with free on-site parking) or hopping on a quick 15-minute train from Edinburgh to North Queensferry, reaching Deep Sea World couldn’t be simpler.
By Car
From the South: Follow signs for Forth Road Bridge. Once across the bridge, take the first exit left and follow the brown tourist signs for Deep Sea World.
From the North: Turn off the M90 at Junction 1 and follow the brown tourist signs for Deep Sea World.
By Train
